Hello everyone,
In the update today I will share the progress that is being done with the 787 as well as some GSE news.
First off I want to apologize for the delay in giving news and sharing the project status, I am doing my best to cope with everything, please bear in mind that I am not exclusively working on the 787, but I am also processing orders, making stock units, working on the Mallaghan catering prototype as well as finishing some commitments that I started some time ago to keep things going.
Although I mentioned that the release of the 787 is scheduled for the first Q1 2025, there are things that I also want to release so that customers who may be interested will not need a second shipment. Therefore, the project is going well and the first units will start to be produced towards the end of next month.
The fuselages were prepared for the mold making and I am about to do the first one; the 787-8.
There has been a lot of progress on the tail surfaces for which I made all the master parts, so that phase is completed except for the tail and APU cones which will also be prepared soon.

With the tail section being already done and ready for the mold making, I am pushing forward the overall exterior elements, being the windows the next phase I will be working on. The cockpit windshields have also been recasted since I needed to update the mold.
At the same time I am working on the second set of marshaller figures for which I will share the final result on my next update.
New GSE items will be added to the catalog upon the release of the 787, these are the 737 AAK cargo containers as well as their dollies. I have these made in 1/144, however, I expect to also make their 1/200 and 1/72 counterparts. The 1/144 and 1/72 versions of these containers feature a special size to fit inside the B737 models, that is, a narrower version will be released to counteract the fuselage’s plastic thickness.
A new remodel of the AKE (LD3) container will also be done as well as the release of an item I designed a long time ago, the LD3 dolly Wasp A04230D.
In order to take full advantage of these items, there will be a reissue of the former FMC15i Cargo loader, only in 1/144 scale until I create the new dedicated model for the three scales which will form part of the new updated GSE catalog.

As you can see, there is a lot going on, it is impossible for me at this point to give release dates, but the intention is to release all the new items simultaneously with the 787. I am working on everything every single day, things usually are not easy and do not come out perfectly at once, so often it is trial and error. I will be sharing another update as soon as I have more progress with all these projects.
Thank you all for your patience.
Best wishes,
Guillem
